I wrote this song in June 2020, the height of the protests surrounding the death of George Floyd by police. Around this time, I was incredibly frustrated, not knowing how to deal with the emotions that had surfaced. To hear the voices out there defending what happened, to confusing our anger through destruction as us being criminals & vigilantes. To this day, in the wake of Jacob Blake, Breonna Taylor & many others, I still don't. So I wrote this song, knowing that even though I hope one day that we don't have to endure racism, prejudice & hate anymore, we still have a long way to go to get there.

I hope you get something out of what I'm saying.
